1. General information
Tripfella is a motorcycle luggage brand manufactured in China. Moto Scout OÜ is an authorised seller and distributor of Tripfella products within the European Union.
These terms apply to all purchases made via tripfella.eu. By placing an order on this website, you agree to these terms.
All prices shown on this website are in EUR and include VAT, unless stated otherwise. We currently ship orders exclusively within the European Union.
2. Orders & payments
Orders are placed directly through our website using the “Buy now” buttons on product pages. Payments are processed securely through Stripe or other equivalent payment service providers.
We do not store your full card details on our servers. Payment processing is handled by the payment provider in accordance with their own security standards and privacy policy.
After your order and payment are completed, you will receive an order confirmation to the e-mail address you provided.
3. Shipping
We ship Tripfella products from a warehouse located within the European Union to delivery addresses in EU countries. Shipping costs (if any) and estimated delivery times are shown during checkout.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will normally receive a tracking link or shipping reference. Please check the parcel on delivery and report any visible damage to the courier immediately.
4. Warranty
Tripfella cases and mounting hardware sold via this website come with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the date of delivery.
The warranty covers, for example:
- Defects in materials (aluminium panels, stainless hardware, gaskets) under normal use;
- Defects in welding or structural joints;
- Faulty locks, hinges or quick-release mechanisms not caused by misuse.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accidents, crashes, falls or other external impact;
- Damage caused by overloading, incorrect installation or modification of the product;
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic scratches, discolouration or minor corrosion;
- Damage from use outside normal road/off-road riding conditions (e.g. racing, stunts).
If a product is found to be defective under warranty, we may at our discretion repair the product, replace it with an equivalent item, or offer a refund.
5. Returns & right of withdrawal
If you purchased as a consumer within the European Union, you normally have a legal right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days from the day you receive the goods, without giving any reason.
To use this right of withdrawal:
- Contact us by e-mail at info@tripfella.eu within 14 days from receiving your order;
- Keep the products unused and in re-sellable condition as far as reasonably possible;
- Carefully pack the goods for return shipping.
Unless otherwise agreed, you are responsible for the cost of sending the goods back to us. Once we receive and inspect the returned items, we will issue a refund within a reasonable time, using the same payment method you used for the original transaction (unless we agree on another method).
Your statutory rights under applicable EU and national consumer protection law remain unaffected.
6. Returns due to defects or wrong items
If you receive a damaged product, a product with a defect, or an incorrect item compared to your order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@tripfella.eu with photos and a short description.
In such cases, we will guide you through the process and, where appropriate, cover the cost of returning the defective or incorrect product and sending a replacement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Moto Scout OÜ is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profit, loss of time or travel plans);
- Damage to contents carried inside the cases;
- Damage resulting from incorrect installation or use contrary to the product instructions.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you may have as a consumer under mandatory EU or national law.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law, logistics or our product range. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
